DDG Sponsor Eastern Health Charity Golf Day

DDG were recently asked by a major client, Eastern Health, to participate in sponsoring their annual charity golf day, to be held at the prestigious Heritage Club in the picturesque Yarra Valley.

This event is an important component of the Eastern Health fundraising calendar, with the funds raised used to buy desperately needed medical equipment. The target this year was to raise over $60,000!

DDG joined the fundraising effort as a Silver Sponsor and proudly supported such a worthwhile event, which was held last Thursday the 5th of March.

The day was one of the coldest of late, with drizzling rain all morning and blustery conditions. This did not dampen the enthusiasm of the 140 odd players though and we all promptly headed out to take on the course.

The DDG team did not trouble the scorers yet had a fabulous day! We used our sponsorship opportunity to promote the DDG suites of expertise as well as display some products of a selection of key clients including 3Fish, Celebrity Slim and Green Olive at Red Hill.

The event was a huge success with over $60,000 raised for the Eastern Health fundraising committee, which was an enormous effort. The funds were raised via a combination of sponsorship participation and a charity auction held during the dinner and presentation, which provided the successful bidders with a fabulous range of gifts, holidays and wonderful memorabilia items.

All in all, a great day was had by all for a wonderful and worthy cause.
