The On Course group was established in Victoria over 25 years ago to support PGA (Professional Golfers Association Australia) members. Over the years they have expanded nationally setting-up stores in NSW, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania. Today they are one of the larger national sports retail groups in Australia
DDG developed an online sales reporting system for On Course suppliers that provides an efficient electronic pipeline using web technologies to collect sales data from the supplier for preparing internal sales reports.
Efficiency through this process has been gained in the following ways:
- The elimination of individual supplier spreadsheets and the associated manual compilation.
- Utilising data entry templates to simplify data entry and collection.
- The creation of a central supplier & member database.
- Providing suppliers with the ability to enter data by using their own supplier identification numbers or names.
- Utilising the same member’s database for the Sales system and the Members website.
